EZ Chirp provides a way for users to send and receive text messages with inmates using a system that complies with federal correctional facility guidelines. Inmates can receive and respond to messages through an approved communication service.
3. Is EZ Chirp available in all federal prisons?
EZ Chirp operates in federal facilities where electronic messaging is permitted. Availability may vary based on the institution’s policies.

4. How do I sign up for EZ Chirp?

5. Do inmates need an account to use EZ Chirp?
No, inmates do not need an EZ Chirp account. They will receive messages through the facility’s approved messaging system and can respond accordingly.
6. How do I add funds to my EZ Chirp account?
Our subscriptions are charged on a monthly, three-month, six-month, or annual basis. However, we do have an option for a $20 one-time payment, which covers one month of service. You can subscribe to our plans by clicking here.

7. How much does it cost to send a message?
We do not charge per message; however, depending on your cellular service provider, messaging and data costs may apply.
8. Is there a limit to the number of messages I can send?
No, our text plans come with unlimited usage!
9. How long does it take for an inmate to receive a message?
Delivery times vary depending on the facility’s review process, but most messages are delivered within two hours.
10. Can I send pictures or attachments?
At this time, you are unable to send pictures and/or attachments. However, we are working on offering that option in the near future.
Security & Compliance
11. Are messages monitored?
Yes, all messages sent through EZ Chirp are subject to monitoring and review by correctional staff to ensure compliance with facility rules.
12. What happens if my messages are flagged or blocked?
If a message violates facility guidelines, it may be rejected, and in some cases, the sender’s account may be restricted. Users should follow all messaging policies to avoid issues.
12. What happens if the facility has blocked the email you've given to my loved one?

13. What if I have trouble receiving responses from an inmate?
Check to ensure the inmate has access to the facility’s messaging system and that your account is funded. If issues persist, contact EZ Chirp support.
